"10K Sweepstakes"

No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes: February 21, 2023 7pm EST to February 28, 2023 5pm EST. No purchase or maintenance of any The Cozy Tangerine products or services is necessary to enter or to win. Open only to legal residents of the United States of America or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the date of entry. Void wherever prohibited.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States of America or the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor, the Sponsor’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, Prize providers, agents, and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of employees, and all those with whom such employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

AGREEMENT TO RULES

By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD + ODDS

The "10k Sweepstakes" (“Sweepstakes”) is a sweepstakes in the United States. The Entry Period and Drawing Date for the Sweepstakes are set forth below.

• Entry Period: February 21, 2024 7pm EST –  February 28, 2023 5pm EST (“Entry Period”)
• Drawing Date: February 29, 2024

Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

HOW TO ENTER

No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter. To enter the Sweepstakes, Entrants must:

1. Follow @thecozytangerine on Instagram
2. Comment on the related The Cozy Tangerine Instagram post telling us who your favorite creator is. If entering the sweepstakes for the "Creator" prize, you must include an orange heart emoji. If entering the sweepstakes for the "Crochet lover" prize, you must include a green heart emoji. You cannot enter for both prizes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS

Only submissions received during the Entry Period will be eligible for the applicable drawing. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Limit: ONE (1) Entry per person. The use of multiple accounts on the same social media platform, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules or the use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Multiple entrants are not permitted to share an Instagram account. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different social media accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries, and that entrant may be disqualified from the entire Sweepstakes.

PRIZES

The following “Prizes” will be awarded to two separate entrants on channel of entry (Instagram):

• Creator prize: $50 The Cozy Tangerine e-gift card, redeemable at www.thecozytangerine.com (value: $50):
• Crochet lover prize: one (1) custom handmade wooden classic crochet hook by @mad_hooker_crochet on Instagram. (Approximate value: $35-$65)

No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winner is permitted.

All taxes on the Prizes, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income and sales taxes, and any expense not covered herein (including but not limited to expenses related to the use of the Prize) are the responsibility of the winner.

Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for The Cozy Tangerine to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising, unless prohibited by law.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing on February 28, 2024 under the supervision of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win.

Winners will be notified via a comment or direct message from The Cozy Tangerine to the social media account used to enter the Sweepstakes within twenty-four (24) hours following the February 28 drawing date. In order to claim their Prize, Winners must:

1. Reply to Sponsor’s direct message within 2 hours
2. Provide their full legal name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and mailing address to The Cozy Tangerine

The Cozy Tangerine has no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to any security or privacy settings on the Winner’s social media account or Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 48 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
