When I first launched The Cozy Tangerine in January of 2021, I distinctly remember mug rug bundles being one of the very first products we listed in our shop. These included thrifted mugs with handmade (by me) crochet mug rugs (coasters).
Over the past few years, as most businesses naturally do, TCT has pivoted every now and again. Whether that be a change in brand colors or a shift in focus on product offerings, it's natural to change things up a bit. So when I shifted away from secondhand items (like the mug rug bundles) and began focusing more on crochet goods and stationery, it felt like what was right for the time being.
If you've been following us on socials lately, then you know that we opened up our own lil booth inside of Salvage Angel, and have even began offering secondhand and vintage goods in our online store as well as at popups.
And that's because we're going back to our sustainability roots!
If there's one thing you should know about me, its that I highly value being as green as I possibly can. From participating in at-home composting to thrifting 90% of my wardrobe, I consider myself to be eco-conscious. And I want my business to reflect my personal values, too.
Which is where our brand comes in. Lately I have been loving the thrifty vibes I've been bringing to our online and in-person presence.
So consider this our official announcement: you can now find secondhand and vintage housewares, clothing, decor, knick knacks, and more - right here in our online shop. Everything you see is hand-picked by me. As I'm curating these collections, I'm looking for cute and fun items that remind me of our brand.
